LOU PANICO’S DISORDERLY CONDUCT ON DISPLAY WITH "SHE’S ON FIRE"

Lou Panico’s new track “She’s On Fire” is ablaze with rock and roll attitude.

Lou’s follow-up to “SMH” similarly revolves around a fierce attraction. “She’s On Fire” comes in with boundless energy, led by a rock and roll riff reminiscent of Motley Crue and AC/DC. Lou details a tough, rowdy protagonist with a devil-may-care approach to life. “Nobody taught her right from wrong / So now she’s too far gone,” he warns, yet his tone isn’t entirely cautionary.

During a mid-song admission, he clarifies his connection to the wild main character: “We made love in the back of the cop car,” his voice rising to a near-scream.

Lou spoke about his inspiration and what he hopes listeners take away from the track. "She’s On Fire is about falling in love with the bad girl. If it was SO wrong, why does it feel SO right? Broken people deserve love, too. Let your freak flag fly."

After breaking it down to a palm-muted riff designed for an Angus Young shuffle, Lou brings the chorus back for one more teetering-on-the-rails run-through. With his influences on his sleeve and calling upon proven rock traditions, Lou maintains a fun, upbeat energy in his tracks.

“She’s On Fire” and “SMH” are from Lou’s upcoming Dunk Tank EP, due in January 2024.

ABOUT LOU PANICO

Lou Panico was raised in Linden, New Jersey, a hop, skip, and a jump away from New York City. From a young age, Lou was singing, dancing, and performing in front of anyone who would let him. He was recruited into the NJ All State Children’s Choir in elementary school and would start performing in musicals in school.

After discovering punk rock (most notably, his favorite band of all time
Blink-182) in middle school, Lou started playing guitar and writing his own
music. He started his first band in freshman year called BLUE STAR DRIVE.
He attended Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ) where he met other
like-minded players who were also in bands. He joined SOCRATIC (Drive-Thru Records) shortly after and began to travel the world to Japan, Australia,
and all around the continental USA performing original rock and roll songs.

Lou has worked with Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 (Mark produced the 2008 Socratic Album “Spread The Rumors”) and has shared the stage with acts like Incubus, All American Rejects, The Offspring, Saves The Day, Brand New, The Early November, Say Anything, Jack Antonoff, and many more.

Lou also performs music with his wife, Natalie Farrell who is an amazing pop singer residing in Asbury Park, NJ. Natalie just recently performed at PNC Arts Center with Sammy Hagar and George Thorogood.
