ACCLAIMED UK ALTERNATIVE METAL BAND ANNOUNCE NEW EP AND SINGLE
FALLING BELOWwill release their captivating sophomore EP ‘Holding Out for Hope’ on Friday 20th February 2026. Ahead of the EP's launch, the band are set to unveil their breathtaking new single ‘Pieces’ out everywhere from Friday 26th September.
FALLING BELOW come at you from Nottingham, England, and are racking up much praise for merging intricate guitar work and dynamic choruses with atmospheric melodic nuances.
The band deliver an engrossing contemporary metal sound that balances emotional depth with vivid intensity.
Since forming in 2023, FALLING BELOW have quickly gained recognition within the UK rock and metal community. Their music has been supported by outlets including:Kerrang! Radio, BBC Radio, ERB Radio, and Total Rock. The band has accumulated over 380,000 streams across digital platforms, reaching audiences in more than 130 countries. They have also performed at several sold-out support shows throughout the Midlands, earning high praise for their energetic and immersive live set.
The forthcoming EP ‘Holding Out for Hope’ (mastered at Abbey Road Studios by engineer Stefan Brown) explores themes of self-conflict and inner turmoil, framed by heavy riffs, ambient synthesizers, and introspective lyrics. Vocalist Alex James Methven comments: “Holding Out for Hope is a raw dive into darkness; it captures the emotions we face in the hardest of times, when you feel like you’ve lost all fight but still search for a way out - something most of us can relate to.”
The release will precede the band's headline show at Rough Trade in Nottingham on Saturday 21st February 2026.
