Produced and mixed by Patch Chiverton, ‘’Perpetual Maybe’ explores the ache of being stuck in emotional limbo, holding on to someone who won’t fully commit, but won’t fully let go either. It’s one of Bebe’s more introspective releases to date, dialing
down the punchy energy of her previous tracks in favour of something sadder and more exposed.
Musically, the track draws from influences like Green Day, Yungblud & Billie Eilish , combining emotionally honest lyricism with a building indie/rock sound. Bebe’s voice is front and centre here, cracked open and carrying every word, giving weight to the song’s themes of false hope and quiet heartbreak.
