Bent Heavens Flexes Its Muscles in Single “Twin”

Crossing the boundaries of rock and metal and myth and history, “Twin” delivers chaotic guitar stabs, serpentine vocal harmonies, and Maiden-esque basslines.

Alternative rock act Bent Heavens drops its second single “Twin”, available now and everywhere on streaming.

Written and produced by Grant Harris, “Twin” is inspired by the mythological stories and psychological accounts of twin siblings throughout literature and history. The track presents itself as a demented parable on companionship, belonging, and control that turns against itself in spectacular violence. Recorded and mixed by Nate Lanzino at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore, MD, the song combines the edgier elements of alternative rock and metal with a surprise trumpet. The single cover features art design by Jen Klinedinst.

Bent Heavens is the brainchild of singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Grant Harris. He began playing music with the violin at age 8 and started writing his own music and lyrics in his teens while playing in bands with friends. To get through college, he taught private music lessons and mentored students of different ages and diverse backgrounds. Today, under the shade and shadows of Bent Heavens, it’s his mission to offer a blend of honest yet high-energy songs upon a terrain where the strange is normal and the normal is strange.
