German trio PABST are back, and from here onwards it’s all about their new self-coined brand of “Hyper-Rock”.

The Berlin-based three piece return today with their new single ‘I felt all there is to feel’ featuring guest vocals from Shane Parsons, frontman of Australian dance-punk heroes and labelmates DZ Deathrays.

Alongside the single, the band are delighted to announce their fourth studio album This is normal now, released 28th November 2025 via Alcopop! Records / Ketchup Tracks.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Magnus Wichmann at lala Studios, Leipzig, This is normal now is unmistakably PABST at their most sharpened, and—as ever—what they deliver is impossible to replicate.

A forward-thinking fuzz bomb that drives the oft stale rock genre into fresh new territory, new single ‘I felt all there is to feel’ grooves along on a disco beat and a tsunami of distorted guitars and twisted FX pedals, all ably tied together by Parsons’ electric guest vocals.

“It’s been almost three years since we released our last track,” front man Erik Heise says. “Since then, the world has flipped on its head at least four times – and made us feel all there is to feel. One thing we’ve learned: with 14 hours of screen time a day, you don’t feel much of anything. Still, we hope this new PABST song makes you feel something.”

After two self-released albums Deuce Ex Machina (2020) and Crushed by the Weight of the World (2022), the band signed to Alcopop! Records’ bustling roster in 2023 for the release of their unruly live album 1, 2, 3, Go!.

With a Top 20-charting album in Germany, love from the inimitable Daniel P Carter at BBC R1, and a veritable smorgasbord of tours across Europe with the likes of Billy Talent, Bob Mould, snake eyes, and Beach Riot under their belts, the three Berliners’ antics are no longer solely confined to the German-speaking corner of the music industry.

As evidenced by recent appearances on the big stages of The Great Escape Festival (UK), renowned Rock am Ring Festival (GER), Sziget Festival in Budapest (HUN) and Madcool Festival in Madrid (ES), now is the time for PABST to take the bull by the horns, and their irresistible Hyper-Rock to global audiences.

Starting in December 2025, PABST will hit the road on their newly-announced “Sorry For Hyper-Rocking” headline tour, and for those of you in Germany there’s absolutely no excuse to miss one of the country’s finest exports.

Further international live dates and album details will be announced over the coming months.
