We approached this album as if it was our last, because it very well could be. Every part of the recording process felt heavier, not in pressure, but in purpose. We weren’t chasing perfection; we were chasing truth. Vocals were recorded in fewer takes to preserve the emotional honesty. Mistakes weren’t always edited out if they felt right – they stayed. Guitar tones were dialed in to feel gritty and intimate. Much of the writing and recording process happened during a time of personal struggle, dealing with grief, uncertainty, and transitions. This real-life turmoil shaped the soundscape. This isn’t a concept album; it’s a lived experience, recorded.

Biography:

Forged in the fire of life's hardest trials, Bullet To The Heart have carved a name for themselves as one of Chicago's most emotionally charged and unapologetically authentic alternative metal bands. Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Audrey Queen, the group blends soaring melodies, thunderous riffs, and cinematic intensity with lyrics that confront trauma, resilience, and self-discovery head-on.
The band formed when kindred spirits Audrey Queen, Brian Benischek, Draven DC, and Jake "Six" LoGiudice (the resident demon) came together with one mission: to transform pain into purpose. Every song is a battle cry from the depths of survival, echoing themes of mental health, addiction, and inner conflict while offering listeners a beacon of hope in the dark.

Described by Metal Planet Music as "a haunting yet empowering sound that connects the heaviest lows with the brightest stars," Bullet To The Heart have been praised for their emotional honesty and melodic ferocity. Their 2024 EP TRAUMA marked a turning point—an unflinching reflection on confronting past pain and reclaiming identity. "Your trauma doesn't define you," says Queen. "I will never forgive you, but it's time for me to move on." Each member's contribution to the music reflects their own trauma response, creating a work that is both intensely personal and universally relatable.
