Citizen Rat Sign to Sodeh Records + Announce National Tour
Brisbane punk/metal outfit Citizen Rat have announced their signing to Canadian label SODEH Records, the release of their new single Fry, and their biggest east coast tour to date.
Kicking off September 27 at Vinnies Dive Bar on the Gold Coast, the Fry Single Tour will hit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, showcasing the chaotic energy and raw intensity that has made Citizen Rat one of Brisbane’s most talked-about heavy acts.

Out September 21, Fry dives into themes of authenticity, substance struggles and self-acceptance. Featuring Polly of Mitch, Please!, the track delivers searing vocals and relentless riffs that push the band into their most powerful territory yet.
Guitarist Brendan Statham says:

With a new single, a global label deal and their largest national run locked in, 2025 is set to be Citizen Rat’s breakthrough year.
