The recording benefits from guitar solos by Hugh Williams from Fernandina Beach, Florida, & other session guitar players. It has a gentle rhythm to keep you awake. The melodies and arrangements are soft and smooth, so you can listen to the song while you work or read. There are plenty of catchy hooks in the song.  This recording fits perfectly alongside tunes by Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, Daryl Hall or Christopher Cross. The song is meant to make you feel good no matter your life circumstances. With breezy vocals, the lyrics of the song invite the listener to practice "mindfulness" by focusing on the feelings of sadness or tiredness they are experiencing. As Dr. Janina Fisher observed, people not only remember stories, they also memorize feelings. The song asks you: Does this bad feeling you are experiencing correspond to something that is happening right now, or is it simply something you learned as a child? The final hook of the song says: There is no danger in the now.

Previously, Dario Margeli achieved significant Smooth Jazz radio airplay with the 2019 recording "Suffering is optional". The song was also added to two very important smooth jazz electric guitar Spotify playlists. This means that to this day the song is getting discovered by new listeners. It has stream counts approaching a hundred thousand when adding the different versions and youtube listens. Dario Margeli is a serious musician. He works extensively on the piano or guitar to create original melodies. He investigates musical scales and goes to great lengths to ensure that the melodies of his songs are original. In the mid-80s, Dario started with music theory lessons for several years. Around 2010 a website he had created for vinyl records got him an opportunity to work on a couple of albums from NowAgain records, a subsidiary of Stones Throw records. This got him excited about being a musician again. He taught himself music production. In 2011, his first single was released with amazing guitars played by Hugh Williams, a studio musician from Florida. The best musicians played on Dario's recordings. In the second half of the decade, Dario became interested in Buddhism and other spiritual teachings and from then on his songs all had positive and encouraging messages. They draw from self-improvement teachings. The music also reflects this, staying smooth and gentle. Musically, each Dario song has at least 4 different melodic parts.
