"A rousing swirl of riffs, a rhythm backbone built to make the earth shake, and enough trippy-weighty statements to hang your hat on and scream out loud, Demob Happy are back doing what they do best – melting the world down to its molten core" The Line of Best Fit

“Like the Vines libidinously licking the sleeve of Rubber Soul on a revolving bed. It’s seedy and funky and excellent” The Guardian

“Rich power chords, multi-faceted vocal work, and a cohesion of riffs to both comfort and disrupt” DIY

“An intellectual and all-embracing encapsulation of the godly and ungodly” Dork

“The kind of fuzzy, stompy rock’n’roll oddball you can dance and headbang to with ease.” Classic Rock

“Drenched with rock swagger” Kerrang!

Demob Happy announce their return with pulsating new single ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’, out today (September 24th) via Milk Parlour Records.

Marking their first release in nearly two years, and arriving via their own label, ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’ kickstarts a brand new phase for the band, and was recorded in the iconic Rancho De La Luna studio in Joshua Tree with Dave Catching (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal) earlier in 2025. Filled with brooding undertones and the group’s trademark anthemic sensibilities, their latest offering is sure to attract plenty of fanfare ahead of a standout London headliner at Islington Assembly Hall this November.

Racking up widespread support from all corners of the press landscape including The Guardian, The Independent, NME, DIY, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Kerrang and Classic Rock across their three album releases to date, Demob Happy have since become mainstays on the BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X airwaves, whilst supports alongside established acts such as Jack White, Royal Blood and Death From Above 1979 have certainly harnessed their thrilling live reputation.

Speaking ahead of their single release, which precedes further new material and 2026 live dates, frontman Matthew Marcantonio explained: “It's a conversation between me and myself; all the parts I sought to destroy - the roguish energy I thought was doing me no good. But it argued back, saying you need a bit of that to write rock and roll - so it's an ode to both.”

Demob Happy’s ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’ is out now via Milk Parlour Records and available on all digital platforms.

Demob Happy is Matthew Marcantonio (lead vocals, bass guitar, keyboards), Adam Godfrey (guitars, backing vocals, saxophone), Thomas Armstrong (drums, backing vocals, percussion)
