Alternative artist Elijah Cruise returns with “Dark Romance”, a cinematic track that blends rock, electronic, and indie influences with his signature powerhouse vocals. With its raw intensity and haunting beauty, “Dark Romance” captures the devotion and vulnerability that come with loving someone completely, even in their darkest moments.

At its core, it’s about doing anything for the person you love”, Elijah explains. “To embrace every side of them, even the darkest and most hidden parts. Musically, it draws from the striking nostalgia of the 2010s while carving a sound that hits deeply in the soul, offering something both familiar and uniquely mine.”

Elijah’s music comes from a place of grit and determination. Raised in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, a small tourist town, he grew up homeschooled in a family that didn’t have much. Music quickly became his way forward and his way out. Teaching himself to write and produce in his basement studio, he turned his passion into purpose. What began as a refuge has grown into a rising career with a dedicated fanbase and a sound that is quickly drawing attention around the world.

His breakout moment came with “Poem of a Killer”, a collaboration with Canadian duo WE ARE FURY that surpassed 2 million streams and landed airplay on BBC Radio 1. He followed with alt-rock anthems “Vampire U” and “Suicide In Her Head”, both breaking 100,000 streams within a month. In 2024, Elijah’s single “Chérie” went viral on TikTok and debuted in the Top 10 of the iTunes Alternative Rock charts, solidifying him as an artist to watch.

Frequently compared to Lana Del Rey, The Neighbourhood, and Arctic Monkeys, Elijah is building a world of dark romance, nostalgia, and cinematic soundscapes that resonate with listeners looking for something honest and immersive.
