Fiona-Lee announces debut EP ‘Nothing Compares To Nineteen’ (pre-order here), set for release March 7th via Gravity / Capitol Records, and shares brand new single ‘To Make Me Feel Good’, out now following its BBC 6 Music Steve Lamacq premiere.

With additional production from The Maccabees’ / 86TV’s Hugo White, the Yorkshire newcomer’s first release of 2025 follows previous EP previews ‘When I Wake Up I’m Sad’, ‘Nothing Compares To Nineteen’ and ‘Mother’, all of which were lauded throughout the press landscape via key titles including The Telegraph, DIY Magazine, Dork Magazine, Rolling Stone UK, Clash Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit and Under The Radar.

Capping off a whirlwind twelve months with a December tour support alongside The Amazons, Fiona-Lee’s live prowess also continues to gather pace, with an acclaimed show at Eurosonic ahead of a summer on the festival circuit. Whilst across the airwaves, the musician has already landed several standout BBC 6 Music features (Steve Lamacq - The Great Escape special, Amy Lamé -‘Sunday Girl’ and Huw Stephens - ‘Huw Are You’) and BBC Radio 1 (Nels Hylton, Sian Eleri) airplay, as her remarkable storytelling and crunching indie sensibilities resonate with audiences far and wide.

Speaking ahead of her fourth EP reveal, the indie sensation added: “I wrote ‘To Make Me Feel Good’ when I was going through a hard time with my body image. It’s a song about the idea that you shouldn’t need someone else to make you feel like you’re enough as you are. I think it’s even worse for young people now because it’s so easy to compare yourself to others online, and I think many of us search for validation through social media and romantic partners - even if they’re not the right people for us.  So ‘To Make Me Feel Good’ is about acknowledging how reliant we can be on that and saying maybe it’s not so good for us - as well as generally questioning the amount of importance and pressure that’s actually put on ‘being beautiful’ nowadays.”

Fiona-Lee’s ‘To Make Me Feel Good’ is out now via Gravity / Capitol Records and available on all digital platforms. Pre-order debut EP ‘Nothing Compares To Nineteen’ here.
