GLAASCATS share single ‘DUST’

To celebrate the release of their mesmerising new album ‘DUST’  Switzerland based alternative rock output Glaascats has returned with  their stunning new single ‘Anesthesia’!

Born in 2019 and based in Fribourg, Switzerland, the band has built a world where fragility meets  force, their sound oscillating between darkness and light, melancholy and melody. Entirely self produced, they record, mix, and design every element themselves, staying true to their independent  vision and instinctive creative drive.

Written over two transformative years, ‘Dust’ reflects a journey through doubt, discovery, and  renewal. Inspired by travel, changing seasons, and the fragile link between humanity and nature, the  album captures the fleeting poetry of everyday life. Rich in texture and nuance, it reveals a bolder  approach to sound, layering subtleties.

At its core stands ‘Anesthesia’, originally composed in fragments over two years and nearly lost in  the recording process. The title became a song of persistence and evolution. Ethereal and  enveloping, it carries a sense of isolation and release, drawing listeners into its progression and quiet

strength. The accompanying music video was created by a friend of the band, it mirrors this feeling:  a solitary figure seeking to break free from their bubble and reconnect with the world.

With ‘Dust’ now out, Glaascats look beyond their Swiss roots, ready to share their world with  new audiences. Introspective yet luminous, ‘Anesthesia’ encapsulates their essence: sincere,  textured, and profoundly human.

I'm Amy a Norfolk girl, currently residing at the seaside.

Age: eternally 21 (I’m really Peter Pan!).

By day I'm a Leaks, Condensation, Damp and Mould Resident Liaison Officer and by night I'm CRB's admin bitch, reviewer extraordinaire, point and hope for the best photographer, paperclip monitor and expert at breaking anything technical then expecting Scott to fix it!

I'm into all kinds of music the more obscure the better (my music taste is definitely better than yours 🤪😜) with my fave band being The Wonder Years.

I'm an Ipswich Town fan and have an unhealthy obsession with hedgehogs!
