Dutch dynamo Goldkimono (Martijn 'Tienus' Konijnenburg) has released 'I'm In Heaven', the final glimpse into his upcoming third studio album. The new material can be experienced live during a special in-store performance at London's Rough Trade East on June 30th.
Co-produced by industry veteran Tim Bran (London Grammar, Birdy), Goldkimono’s upcoming album will work as a representation of his inner workings and what truly makes him tick. Following the emotional yet danceable ‘Lifetime’ and the irresistibly upbeat title track, 'I'm In Heaven' emerges as a dreamlike journey through connection and escapism. The nostalgic focus track blends 80's-inspired sounds with a distinctive guitar line and lush backing vocals, creating an immersive and funky listening experience.
"’This song kind of wrote itself," Goldkimono explains. "It flowed out of me without much thought, almost like a stream of consciousness. I didn't know exactly what it meant at the time, but looking back it hints at that space between dreams and reality. It's the kind of feeling where you don't want to be woken up, but you're also wondering what’s even real. I hope people hear it and recognize these moments in their own lives."

Dutch artist Martijn 'Tienus' Konijnenburg is a genre-defying songwriter and performer whose music transcends cultural boundaries. His musical project Goldkimono launched in 2020 through his own Camp Kimono Records and achieved immediate success with debut single ‘To Tomorrow’, produced by heavyweight Crada (Drake, Kendrick Lamar).
