“The original "TWINFLAMES" was inspired by my experience of finally finding my "bonus" person in life and by that I mean, meeting that someone who just elevates your life to the next level. In a world where toxic relationships are put on a pedestal, it's a song about harmonious balance and partnership with somebody once you've reached a level of peace individually that has you both "choosing" each other rather than filling a void. It's unsurprising that the remix was born out of partnership itself at the right time. I had been hoping to work with a DJ and create remixes of my newest releases just as Aqcora reached out on social media from a small town in England. He was a fan of my music and felt inspired to create with my tracks if I was open to it. We found out we were the same zodiac sign and that I also share a birthday with his child---alignment at its finest. We hit it off and this is the first of many remixes he's been working on,” explains Chloé Caroline
“TWINFLAMES” (Produced by Brian West (Nelly Furtado, Maroon 5, Awolnation) and mastered by Gabe Galluci (Shawn Mendes, Johnny Orlando) was released in January 2023 from Chloé Caroline’s “The Awakening Vol. 1”, the first of her “The Awakening” double EP series. It quickly became her third number-one single at Mix 93.3 (Kansas City, MO) along with support from iHeart Radio’s Lisa Worden on LA’s Alt.98.7 (She Is The Voice), Chicago’s Mix 101.9 New Music Club and CBC Music’s Searchlight Competition. Vol. 1 saw a swift spike at streaming, raising her Spotify Monthly Listeners to over 26,000 and received raving support from various media outlets including KTLA Weekend AM, NBC’s “Today in Nashville”, Global News Kingston, Poze Magazine, Better Music, V13 Media, Indie LA Magazine, Roku TV, Better Music, The US Times, YourTV Kingston, Dash Radio and others.
Later this summer, Chloé Caroline will be releasing the second series installment, The Awakening Vol. 2. Three singles, “Boyish”, “94” and “Manifest” from this EP were released in late 2023. Each volume carefully weaves her dedication to female empowerment and of her intense spiritual awakening through her penchant for a good story. Thematically Vol.1 embodied Caroline’s journey of self-discovery, heartbreak, healing, risk and reward, eventually finding the ultimate love internally and externally serving as her spiritual awakening to a whole new cosmic energy. Playing off of these themes Vol. 2, is the prequel–diving deep into the earlier stages of her awakening. Written within a season of particularly vulnerable points, it dives deep into the messiness of heartbreak and the inner battle and hard questions we ask ourselves to overcome pain, heal, and embrace love again (the kind we truly deserve) with faith and surrender. Contrasting feelings of desire, fantasy, frustration, sadness, self-evolution, and embracing inner power all played an immense part in Caroline’s healing process, which is felt fiercely throughout the six-song EP. Vol. 2 is an infectious collection of cosmic, dreamy bedroom pop jams. Its starry grooves and forthright lyrics offer a soul-lifting reset.
