25 June, United Kingdom – Today, Brighton-based emo/alternative rock duo Hell Hotel return with their new single ‘every broken part.’, available now on all major streaming platforms and accompanied by an official music video. The release represents the latest progression in Tom and Demi’s sound as they prepare for a busy 2025, recently unveiling a slot at Burn It Down Festival alongside artists including God Complex and Desolated.

‘every broken part.’ draws on the emo and alternative rock sounds of the early 2000s, inspired by bands like The Used, Taking Back Sunday, and My Chemical Romance. The song examines the emotional turmoil of a destructive relationship, exploring the complex mix of pain and desire that keeps pulling the protagonist back. It captures the conflicting feelings of shame and longing, portraying the struggle between wanting to break free and the strong pull of familiarity. The lyrics offer a candid look at the messy, often self-destructive nature of love and heartbreak, making the song both relatable and deeply personal. The accompanying video for ‘every broken part.’ serves as a haunting visual extension of the track’s emotional weight. Set within a dimly lit room, the visualiser features stark black paintwork, flickering lamps, and shadowy corridors that echo the song’s themes of inner turmoil and entrapment.

“If someone was to ask me what Hell Hotel sounds like, I’d show them this song. ‘every broken part.’ really captures everything we’re about right now - it’s raw, energetic, and full of emotion. This track marks a new chapter for us, where we’re not holding back or trying to fit into any expectations. It’s sassy, honest, and unapologetically us, reflecting the sound we’ve always loved and the direction we want to take moving forward. We’re excited for people to hear it and connect with what we’re putting out there,” - Demi Jay, vocalist of Hell Hotel.

Hell Hotel have been making waves in the UK emo scene, steadily growing their presence with support from BBC Music Introducing Sussex & Surrey, including multiple premieres and national airplay with Tracks ‘smile.’, ‘jennifer’s body.’, and ‘chandelier.’ via Alyx Holcombe’s BBC Radio 1 Introducing Rock show. On the live circuit, the band have performed alongside Dreamstate, Kid Brunswick, The Hara, and Tropic Gold. Looking ahead to 2025, Hell Hotel is set for a strong live run, with two festival appearances already locked in. Catch the band at Burn It Down Festival on 29 August at the Apple and Parrot in Torquay, joining a lineup featuring Desolated and Mouth Culture, followed by a slot at No Play Festival on 06 September in Liverpool.
