Today rising British soul and jazz singer Lois Levin unveils her new single, ‘Felt’, lifted from her upcoming new EP Motions, out July 4th.

Since releasing her debut single in 2021, Lois has become one of Liverpool’s hottest new talents with multiple editorial playlists from Spotify, A-List adds with Jazz FM, and airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC 6Music and BBC Merseyside. Now with confirmation of her second EP Motions (out July 4th) comes the new single ‘Felt.’ With heartfelt lyricism and a deep, passionate vocal ‘Felt’ aches with a quiet intimate desperation; Lois’ old-school influences mix with new-school flourishes to showcase a fully-formed artist ready for the attention she deserves.

Lois Levin: ‘‘Felt’ is about the ache for real connection-craving to be seen, touched, and understood in a world that often feels emotionally distant. It’s a quiet plea for intimacy wrapped in hesitation, loneliness, and a longing to feel something true.

Catch Lois’ headline London show at St Pancras Old Church on 12th June - tickets available now via AEG Presents.

Bio:

Lois Levin is a true talent emerging from the streets of Liverpool’s Birkenhead with a voice that sounds much her senior - she could easily sit amongst the stars of yesteryear though her sound is brought forward by a sonic mash of urban jazz and modern indie pop.

Lois draws on many musical influences from her life including legends like Marvin Gaye, Billie Holiday or The Supremes to modern classics such as Arctic Monkeys, Alabama Shakes and Florence + The Machine; her writing style is eclectic yet homed and direct at the same time. After a chance meeting with Liverpool based producer Jon Withnall (Rihanna, Coldplay), the two began trading demos and ideas over lockdown and a few studio sessions later, they began creating music and releasing it to the world.

The 2021 debut single ‘Burden’ from Lois Levin gained editorial support straight out of the gate from press heavyweights Wonderland and EARMILK, building a foundation for her to grow upon. What followed were sell out shows at the Royal Albert Hall for their Elgar Room Late Night Jazz series, and  Pizza Express Live, plus a stellar reaction to her hometown shows at the esteemed Jacaranda and iconic Cavern Club for a BBC Introducing session.

Lois Levin’s new single ‘Felt’ is out now.

The new EP Motions is out 4th July. Pre-order here.
