Irish Artist Miranda Faul Releases Her Latest Single "Patience"
“'Delicate' is the latest hypnotic indie-pop offering from the Dublin singer songwriter… 'Delicate' boasts a beautiful lyrical and musical circularity that will keep you humming it long after you've heard it.” - Niamh Browne, Hot Press Magazine
"You Would Have Let Me Down pulls on the heart strings a little bit, it takes you away... I love the vocals on this as well, it just hooks you in" - Gemma Bradley, BBC Introducing
“Miranda Faul is on some wildcard, genre-bending timeline right now, and “Holding Me Back” might be one of the most unexpectedly interesting singles I’ve heard all year. This song is doing too much — and it’s somehow doing all of it right. The transitions shouldn’t work. They do work. It makes no sense. I love it.” - Anita Floa, Indie Boulevard
“A modern day siren, beckoning listeners in with a personality and voice that can be heard throughout the ocean of talent that is the Irish music industry” - Adam Cunningham, Midlands 103
“Ear-grabbing, spacious Folk-Pop with thought provoking lyrics” - Neil March, Fresh On The Net
"Miranda Faul has to be one of the most interesting artists emerging from Ireland right now." - Alfitude
“Miranda Faul has solidified her position as a rising star in the Irish music scene … poised to leave a lasting impact on the contemporary music landscape” - Chris Thompson, PureMzine
Miranda Faul is releasing her latest single, “Patience”, on Friday 13th June 2025. This release marks the end of her debut headline tour, ‘The Patience Tour’, which took place from March-May 2025, with shows in London, Amsterdam, Dublin, and throughout Ireland.
Speaking on Patience Miranda says “at its core, Patience is a song about the downside of ‘living for the plot’. It’s about chasing immediate, exciting experiences, rather than figuring out what you really need and pursuing that. The latter is often slow work without immediate reward, requiring patience. I wrote it in a blur one evening in July. I found myself in a messy romantic situation identical to one I'd been in a month before, both of my own making, and I was really angry with myself. I was questioning why I act this way, and that’s where the song came from.
Patience was produced by Cian Sweeney. We started working on Patience shortly after I wrote it, and I think the raw emotion behind it was captured. Cian produced my debut EP ‘Rise & Run’, which was a mix of folk, alt pop, and rnb influences. With Patience, we went for a cinematic folk-pop production, building a swirling soundscape around dark, slow piano melodies, delicate layers of acoustic guitar, and stacked vocal layers. I’m proud of this one. I feel exposed by it. I’m very excited to share it.”
