Irish Band The Vibes Announce Debut Album Penny for Your Thoughts - Out December 12, 2025
Irish indie-folk-pop band The Vibes, based in Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim, will release their debut album Penny for Your Thoughts on December 12th, 2025. The record captures the band’s refined sound developed over years of writing, performing, and studio work, presenting a cohesive collection of tracks shaped by their melodic sensibilities and layered acoustic arrangements.
The album features key singles “Battle Scars,” “Head Over Heels,” and “Where I Wanna Be,” alongside new material that highlights the group’s hallmark harmonies and contemporary pop-leaning production.
Production credits include acclaimed Irish producer Ger McDonnell and multi-Grammy Award–winning producer Greg Wells, whose résumé includes work with artists such as Adele, John Legend, Dua Lipa, Celine Dion, and Twenty One Pilots.
The Vibes have already established a strong national presence. Previous singles — including Where I Wanna Be, Christmas Feels Different, Head Over Heels, and Just Another Love Song — all reached the Irish Top 20, supported by substantial radio play and steady streaming growth.
