Munich Rock Newcomers INK release Self Produced EP ‘Me Again’
INK, newcomer rock band from Munich, will release their first selfproduced EP, 'Me Again', on April 25, 2025. With two singles, 'Me Again' and 'When I'm Gone', INK has already woken us from our hibernation with two rock songs. With their cool, melodic, yet dynamic sound, the band presents their own acoustic image of life in a big city, and also the associated personal experiences of interpersonal relationships. The DIY band is clearly influenced by rock musicians from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. INK is thus neither lacking in a retro flair nor a distorted guitar sound. Pop music lovers will also enjoy the EP, thanks to singer Margo Theresa Lynn's crystal-clear and expressive voice.
'Me Again,' the EP by newcomer INK, conveys the band's personal themes and packs them into energetic rock songs. Stream 'Me Again' from April 25, 2025- available on all streaming platforms!
'Back To Your Soul', the opening track on INK's EP 'Me Again', is reminiscent of 90s rock with a touch of dark rock. It introduces us to a dilemma of interpersonal relationships. The song is about a long-term, intense love affair whose foundation of trust is changing. Alienation looms, making it difficult to understand each other. The song is about overcoming this barrier and forging a new chapter in love. 'Back To Your Soul' is inspired by the cult series 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', the singer Margo's favorite series. The love affair depicted between main character Buffy and Angel, a vampire with a soul, takes a tragic turn when Angel loses his soul. Buffy is now faced with one of her greatest challenges: killing the man she loves. The song 'Back To Your Soul' describes the inner turmoil Buffy must feel. But at the same time, it expresses hope and faith that love can overcome all things if those involved are willing to fight for it.
“Blending 90s rock with dark undertones, INK explore themes of love, loss, and redemption through a cinematic lens, balancing turmoil with a sense of hope.”
