DUBLIN, 11th November - Irish artist ARREN returns with Rising Sun, a cinematic, warm, and romantic folk tune that marks a new chapter in his evolving sound. Infused with Americana influences and featuring Dutch artist Tom Hartman on harmonica and banjo, Rising Sun captures the bittersweet beauty of leaving home while honoring the love and legacy of one's parents. 

Produced by Gary Duncan of Red Lake Sound Studios, the track unfolds like a sunrise. It's tender, expansive, and full of quiet emotion. The song’s organic textures and heartfelt lyricism reveal ARREN’s most personal release to date, set against lush folk instrumentation and evocative harmonies. 

“Rising Sun is a song for my parents and about that small feeling of guilt you have leaving home,” ARREN explains. “It’s about gratitude, growing up, and honouring the places you came from.” 

To celebrate the release, ARREN will unveil a full suite of accompanying visuals, including a lyric video, music video, and acoustic performance video. Fans can also experience the song live at special performances in Dublin this winter, with more details to follow via ARREN’s social channels.
