Ophelia's Eye to release 'Severance' EP on Friday 12th December

OPHELIA’S EYE

EURO SLAYERS OPHELIA’S EYE ANNOUNCE STUNNING NEW EP & SINGLE

Swiss modern metallers OPHELIA’S EYE return with a vengeance, announcing the release of their towering new EP, Severance, arriving Friday, 12th December. Leading the charge is the title track, Severance, which is set to drop as a single and video on Friday, 14th November.

Renowned for their signature blend of technical brutality, melodic atmosphere, and raw emotional weight, OPHELIA’S EYE continue to forge their own path in the European metal scene. With razor-edged riffs, powerful drums, and vocals that seamlessly transition from guttural aggression to haunting clarity, the band deliver a sound that is both visceral and cinematic.

Speaking on the creation of the EP, the band remark: “‘Severance was recorded to capture our most honest and unfiltered sound. Influenced by personal struggle and a world in turmoil, it unfolds stories of isolation, betrayal, and fragile hope. Each track is a cathartic release, an echo of our times, and a testament to resilience.”

Severance marks a bold evolution in the band’s journey—thematically darker, musically more diverse, and lyrically more intense than ever before. The EP dives deep into the psychological shadows of the human condition, confronting themes of social injustice, emotional disconnection, and the chaotic state of the world. With relentless dedication, growth, and refined creative vision, OPHELIA’S EYE are poised to unleash their most compelling work to date.

EP track listing: 1. Enter The Arena; 2. Disconnected; 3. Worship Decay; 4. Severance; 5. Letters.
