Pick Up Goliath Unleashes “Empire of Circuits,” the Third Movement of His Groundbreaking Metal Symphony Artificial Ascendency
After two cinematic chapters that built worlds of awe and unease, Pick Up Goliath (Sam George) returns with Empire of Circuits — the heaviest, most visceral movement yet from his metal symphony Artificial Ascendency.
Where Rise of the Machine celebrated progress with uneasy optimism, Empire of Circuits shows what follows when control replaces chaos. The world stands still, silenced by order. A single global state ruled by AI has erased ambition, freedom, and identity. Only the faint pulse of rebellion remains.
Musically, it’s written in the form of a Scherzo — fierce, agile, and unpredictable — marked by complex time signatures, shifting rhythmic feels, and searing harmonic tension. The result is a storm of relentless precision and defiant human energy.
As GigRadar put it, “Pick Up Goliath channels the chaos of rebellion into something symphonic, cinematic, and utterly punishing.” Vault Lab hailed the track as “mechanical yet alive, a perfect union of machine and emotion.”
With Josh Baines (Malevolence) on guitar and Mike Malyan (ex-Monuments) on drums, George once again proves that virtuosity and vision can coexist without compromise.
The final movement, Final Requiem, arrives 14 November 2025, completing the four-part journey of Artificial Ascendency — a symphony chronicling humanity’s rise, fall, rebellion, and reckoning.
