StrAngE WOmAN ‘FAKE VALENTINE’ Release Date: 13.6.25 - out now!
‘FAKE VALENTINE’ is the ferocious first track from Scottish queer artist Strange Woman. It is a delightfully bluesy take on hard rock and alternative music, combining infectious riffs and blistering screams. The track is an ode to failed love—an expression of frustration in trying to navigate romance as a queer, gender-nonconforming young person.
Inspired by the high-octane sounds of Måneskin, Yungblud, and Cassyette, ‘FAKE VALENTINE’ seduces all who listen with its sexy and snarling attitude.
Edinburgh-born Strange Woman is a 20-year-old hard rock artist with a contemporary punk attitude and electrifying energy. Based in Manchester, she aims to create inclusive spaces for audiences to find community and escapism.
Paired with grunge fashion and an exhilarating stage presence, she has strutted around esteemed venues such as Grand Central and Off The Square. With radio backing from notable figures such as Future Hits Radio’s Natalie Gray, anticipation is high for her October EP, STRANGE.
