SACROBOSCO: second single "Blackthrough" out for producer, via Audioglobe + Antinational Noise

After the enigmatic depth of Once, musician and producer SACROBOSCO unveils another part of the sonic mosaic that will shape his third album by releasing a new single titled Blackthrough, out today, April 18th, via Antinational Noise in collaboration with Audioglobe, which serves as the final preview from the record.

The composition explores the relationship between man and machine, reinterpreting the intricate structures of IDM electronics with a lo-fi touch, central feature of his latest sound. The references to the legendary Warp Records style are evident, channeled into a track that remains atmospheric and emotional while still driving with pulsating basslines and beats. The release is completed by two B-sides, Transparent Jungle and Rosa Arancione Rosso, which enrich the experience with dreamy and exotic atmospheres.

Power and rhythm, as well as rarefaction and contemplation, give life to a creation of peculiar refinement: Sacrobosco continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, creating a sonic universe full of contrasts, a complete sensory experience that combines technique and sensibility in a perfect balance and, once again, confirms the producer’s ability to move between different genres while maintaining a strong artistic identity.

BIOGRAPHY

The pandemic marked a definitive break from his previous project and the complete adoption of the name Sacrobosco, under which in 2020 he released his first EP Dam via Switch Music Recordings, followed later that year by the double single Neon Sunshine/Avalanche, again for the same label.

In 2021, he debuted with his first album Both Sides of the Sky, produced under the artistic direction of Daniele Carretti (Offlaga Disco Pax, Felpa) and released by Sussidiaria. The album received widespread critical acclaim, including praise from Emiliano Colasanti of 42 Records, who ranked it among the best releases of the year. Throughout 2021, he played numerous live shows before focusing on the production of his second album.

In 2023, he joined the roster of Trovarobato, releasing the twin albums IVXVI and IXVXI, which led him to embark on an intense live schedule, including three international performances: in Brussels for Kiosk Radio, in Paris at La Pointe Lafayette and in Berlin at Madame Claude. In the same year, he also released two remixes for the Berlin-based project Sweet Tempest.

In 2024, he founded his own record label Antinational Noise, through which he curates various electronic music projects. For the label’s inaugural compilation, he also contributed a track under the name Sacrobosco, titled Mirrored. In early 2025, he created remixes of Ex-Macello and Brughiera (To Lose La Track) for the band Anna Ox, as well as a remix of Far for the electronic duo Paperdeer.

The seed of his third album Apes + Tigers began to take root between 2023-2024, particularly during the promotional tour for IVXVI and IXVXI, which saw the beginning of his musical collaboration with trumpeter Paolo Raineri (Ottone Pesante, Calibro 35, Iosonouncane). This partnership laid the foundation for the first versions of the tracks of his upcoming record. Kicking off this new chapter is the single Once, officially out on March 14th, 2025, via Antinational Noise and Audioglobe. The second single, titled Blackthrough, is set for release on April 18th.

In his live performances he collaborates with Paolo Raineri (Ottone Pesante, Calibro 35, Iosonouncane) and Gioele Pagliaccia (Joe Lally, Idris Akamoor and The Pyramids, Vincenzo Vasi).
