SINGLE REVIEW: Bitchin’ Hour - Tooth and Nail

'Tooth and Nail' bursts in with a robust, protesting drumbeat, harmonising with sweet melodies before unleashing dramatic, fiery, and passionate vocals that roar and scream, fiercely protesting against the lack of gender equality. It highlights how society often attempts to assign blame even when women are victims, resorting to excuses like 'she was dressed provocatively' or 'she was out on her own.' In truth, none of this should matter; everyone deserves safety. Victim shaming fosters a climate of fear, preventing survivors from speaking out and granting perpetrators the freedom to reoffend.

'Tooth and Nail' serves as a passionate declaration of strength, asserting that despite being perceived as the "weaker" gender, women will fight "tooth and nail for what's right." It stands up against those who seek to belittle and suppress, challenging outdated viewpoints and refusing to be bullied into submission. Women demand to be taken seriously.

This high-impact track maintains its intensity throughout, featuring epic riffs, and fearlessly elevates the protest to full power. It drives home its message in a dramatic, high-octane style. The vocals exude rawness yet also possess a beautifully soulful tone, occasionally transitioning into a stunning, hazy whirlpool effect before ramping back up.

'Tooth and Nail' is unequivocally passionate, unapologetically raw, delivering its message with bold confidence, ensuring that listeners can't help but take notice. It's a rallying cry, a protest for equality.

I received the clean version for review but opted to evaluate the version with explicit language. I believe this choice was correct. Sometimes, the use of such language may seem gratuitous, but in 'Tooth and Nail,' it adds impact, making the message even more powerful.
