SINGLE REVIEW: TeethOut – Here We Go

TeethOut come firing out of the gate with ‘Here We Go’, a track that treats subtlety like a speed bump and hits the accelerator straight through it. Urgent, uptempo, and absolutely wired with adrenaline, the song captures the wild, messy joy of piling into a car with your mates and chasing whatever chaos the night has planned.

From the first hit, the crashing drums feel like they’re right on the edge of chaotic, pushing the momentum forward at breakneck speed. The vocals follow suit — raw, rugged, and unvarnished, delivered with the kind of grit that suits a band rooted firmly in the hardcore-adjacent world. It’s fast-paced and frantic, but in the most exhilarating way possible.

Stylistically, ‘Here We Go’ sits in that sweet spot between hardcore skate punk and something a little more surfy and melodic. Sharp edges meet sweat-drenched energy; big riffs collide with bright flashes of tunefulness. It’s all high-speed catharsis, the musical equivalent of running full tilt downhill and hoping your legs keep up.

The gang vocals add an extra hit of camaraderie — loud, messy, and completely joyous. They reinforce the song’s lyrical spirit, especially in lines like “let’s go to the late night show”, which conjure that perfect snapshot of friendship-fuelled spontaneity: doors slamming, laughter spilling out, and the promise of a fun, unapologetic night ahead.

What stands out is just how relentless the track is. There’s no breather, no slow build — it’s full speed ahead from the moment it kicks in, refusing to take its foot off the pedal for even a second. That commitment gives it the punch it needs; it feels completely authentic, like something created in the pure, collective rush of a band playing exactly the kind of music they love.

Exhilarating, gritty, and buzzing with life, ‘Here We Go’ is TeethOut at their most unapologetically themselves — and it’s an absolute blast.
