BIO:

Taya Lebel is a country/rock artist from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, with a powerful voice that has been described as haunting, captivating, and soulful. Singing since she could talk and stepping on stage by the age of 8, Taya quickly grew into a dynamic performer known for her smooth voice, a hint of rasp, and an impressive vocal range.

Her sound draws influence from a wide mix of artists—ranging from Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, and Taylor Swift to Treaty Oak Revival, Nickelback, and Paramore. Resilient and determined, Taya carries a “watch me do it” attitude and isn’t one to back down from a challenge. She has already performed across Saskatchewan at events including the CCMA’s, SCMA’s, the Prince Albert Winter Festival, and the Tralapa Music Festival. In 2022, she was nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards.

While only just recently starting her songwriting journey, Taya is now recording original songs with Andy Schumack at OLDSCHOOL Recording. Taya is gearing up to release her debut single Life We’re Livin’ on all streaming platforms and Canadian Country Radio.

Inspired by some of our (Taya and her boyfriend) favorite early memories together, the song celebrates young summer love while looking forward to a future full of new adventures, dreams, and moments to cherish. It’s a story of love in motion—past, present, and everything still to come.
