TC TENET Unleashes Raw Energy in First Live Video Session
After putting out his fierce debut EP Breakaway in late 2024, TC TENET is now set to release his first live video session with a full band. Recorded at the Arcus Sounds in London, the session registers powerful versions of three original songs previously released. Recorded live at the spot with no overdubs, the videos capture the experience of seeing the artist live in its rawest state.
‘Get Away,’ ‘Animals,’ and ‘Thu Guru’ are all loud guitar rock tracks with compelling backbeats, provocative lyrics, and raw and honest vocals. Yes, they are alternative rock songs, they root down to references like Radiohead, Oasis, and Queens of the Stone Age, but they are so original and forward-looking that they amaze the most attentive ears. For that reason, TC TENET’s music has previously been tagged as ‘alt-rock 2.0.’
Music is the medium, but the message really matters. In the three songs live recorded, TC approaches thought-provoking themes such as society’s emptiness, the world of fake internet gurus, and the modern need to live a full and meaningful life. In 2025, it is hard not to connect to these topics regardless of your age and where you live.
The live session was only possible due to the contribution of three brilliant musicians. Other than TC TENET on guitar and vocals, the video features Alex Colombo on drums, David Needle on guitar and backing vocals, and Jeremi Szczepkowski on bass.
Talking about the process behind the videos, TC TENET discusses, “These songs were originally written and recorded by me, in the shed in my backyard. It was such a thrill to bring these to life by playing them with a live band. I couldn’t thank the musicians enough who took on this journey with me.”
TC TENET is a UK-based solo alternative rock artist who writes, produces, and records his own songs. After releasing four singles, in late 2024 TC put out his first EP Breakaway, which had a warm reception from the public and specialised media, including Vents Magazine, Backseat Mafia, Mystic Sons, and Return of Rock.
