The Bacarrudas Unveil Two New Singles from Upcoming Halloween Themed Double EP

The Bacarrudas announced an upcoming Halloween themed double EP recently and released they just released two new singles from it (see Chorus.FM and The Bad Copy premieres).

Listen: "She's In Love With Frankenstein's Monster"

The Bacarrudas upcoming double EP, “Bleed Out, Get Pushed off a Cliff, Sink to the Bottom of a Lake, and Play a Halloween Monster House Party!” (or…The Halloween Extended Player) tells stories of classic Halloween monsters from the all too relatable point of view of both the monster and the torch carrying townsfolk (aren’t we the real monsters?). The Bacarrudas rely on their cobwebby organ sounds and reverbed guitars to capture the essence of 1960’s novelty songs and the creepy vibes of Vincent Price movies. The result lands near an Animal House frat rock band fronted by Bobby “Boris” Pickett.

"Lady Frankenstein tells the story of “Bride of Frankenstein” from the point of view of the monster. The song takes the listener on a journey from initial excitement, to self depreciation, to grand gesture, to ultimate disappointment…much like our normal lives." says singer/guitarist Adam Rabuck, adding "Heads up, the chorus evokes a drunken singalong that could be heard at an 18th century tavern in the mountains of Switzerland."

Look for “Bleed Out, Get Pushed off a Cliff, Sink to the Bottom of a Lake, and Play a Halloween Monster House Party!” to be released on October 3rd by Schuylkill Beat Records and Mom's Basement Records.
