The Orphaned Bee Releases Debut EP “Thinking Without Language”

Australian artist The Orphaned Bee has released their debut EP Thinking Without Language via Bird's Robe Records. Across its five tracks, the record guides listeners through an emotional arc of optimism, pain, joy, fear, and eventual redemption, blending synth prog rock with elements of metal, post-rock, and psychedelic rock.

The Orphaned Bee is the project of Sunshine Coast multi-instrumentalist Brett Tollis, featuring lyrics by Laura Boettcher and Tollis, alongside drumming from Alex O'Toole (Meniscus). The EP was mixed by Ron Pollard (Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Yomi Ship), with drums recorded by Tim Carr (Matt Corby, We Lost The Sea).

Thinking Without Language is available now through Bird's Robe Records.
