THE VELVET release new EP "Electric Wizard"
Hailing from Luxembourg, The Velvet is a four-piece powerhouse that exudes the raw energy of 70s rock with a modern twist. Inspired by by legends like Deep Purple and Iron Maiden, their sound mixes driving riffs and electrifying organ and electrifying organ melodies into a high-voltage experience. With their blind singer and keyboardist - often referred to as the “Ray Charles of rock 'n' roll”, they prove that great rock transcends all boundaries, the band the band captures the spirit of classic rock while forging their own distinctive sound.
The band has played many gigs at home and abroad, from small clubs clubs to large open-air stages and has toured Germany, France, Belgium and the Netherlands and played as support acts for artists such as Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Black Mirrors (BE), De Staat (NL), Daily Thompson (DE) and various local artists.
Their EP Electric Wizard is out now, a subsequent tour
is being planned.
