Theogonia Records is proud to announce that today, the first single and music video from Gus Drax’s upcoming instrumental album "Theories of Imperfection" has officially been released. The album’s opening track, “Sentio Ergo Sum”, is now available exclusively on YouTube for fans worldwide.
Set for global release on April 3rd, 2026, "Theories of Imperfection" marks Gus Drax’s powerful return as a solo artist and showcases one of Greece’s most acclaimed guitarists at the peak of his creative expression. Known for his work with Sunburst, Black Fate, and a decade of worldwide touring as lead guitarist for Suicidal Angels, Drax’s new solo era blends technical mastery, emotional depth, and cinematic vision.
“Sentio Ergo Sum” opens the album with intensity and precision, a dynamic fusion of blistering guitar work, atmospheric orchestration, and melodic storytelling. The track’s orchestral elements, arranged by John Koutselinis, enrich the piece with depth and dramatic tension, amplifying its scale and cinematic impact.
The song, and the entire upcoming album, were mixed and mastered by acclaimed producer Simone Mularoni, ensuring the highest level of sonic clarity, power, and detail.
The newly released music video is a high-energy, performance-driven production crafted by an exceptional creative team. Bob Katsionis (Progressive Vision Group) and Alexander Haritakis directed and produced the video, delivering immersive visuals that capture the power of the track. Filmed at MBS Studio in Athens, Greece, the video features dramatic stage lighting designed by Nick Kodizas, adding atmosphere, contrast, and intensity.
Photography for the video and promotional material was captured by Tasos Anestis, whose expressive imagery further defines the visual identity of this release.
