“Having already worked with the likes of Nafe Smallz, Chip, Sigala, Imanbek and many more... there’s no doubt that 20-year-old rising star Tom Did It is bound for greatness” - Mixtape Madness

“Tom ties together two worlds that are often thought to be diametrically opposed, melding Indie pop with rap. Considering he’s not just an artist, but a producer and engineer to boot, he’s clearly someone to keep an eye on.” - GRM Daily

Already carving out a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new forces, Hertfordshire-born artist, producer, and engineer Tom Did It steps into his own with his debut mixtape Did It released via Since ‘93. Listen HERE.  Its lead single, Snow White, features British-Chinese rapper 424KP in a high-energy ode to the luxury, desire, and unapologetic self-indulgence that have defined their respective come-ups. Following a string of standout releases with heavyweight collaborators, Tom cements his status as one of the UK’s most versatile new voices with his 11-track debut Did It. The project celebrates the high-profile recognition he’s earned so far, including last month’s explosive single Madison Beer with grime legend Chip and Did It Freestyle alongside UK icon Devlin, arriving with the backing of some of the scene’s most respected names.

On the mixtape, Tom says: “‘Did It’, the mixtape, is really about coming up as a kid from outside the big cities and wanting to do something different with their lives instead of the whole go uni get a job in London pathway which most people do in the villages round England. There’s no real deeper meaning behind it other than me having fun, showing my youthfulness, talking about drinking and smoking too much, which I’m sure a lot of people my age can relate to.

Born out of a relentless DIY work ethic, Did It is the result of over 500 songs written since Tom first stepped into his self-built home studio, The Barn, during 2020’s lockdown. Initially a wedding DJ as a teenager, Tom taught himself engineering and production before finding his own voice — a dynamic blend of UK rap grit, club-ready energy, and indie pop ease. Lyrically, the mixtape balances ambition and vulnerability — Tom navigates the highs of fast living, the lows of heartbreak and loss, and the inner battles that come with success, all while staying rooted in the culture that raised him.

Whilst this project marks his debut, Tom’s momentum has been driven by standout performances, creative milestones, and appreciation from across the UK scene. After supporting Nafe Smallz at his 2023 KOKO shows, Tom made his festival debut in 2024, performing at GoldCoast OceanFest and All Points East last summer. His music has been championed on radio by DJ Target on BBC 1Xtra, Esi on KISS XTRA, and Sian Eleri on BBC Radio 1’s Future Artists. In press, he’s been supported by key tastemakers such as GRM, Complex, and Viper, with Mixtape Madness naming him among their Ones To Watch for 2025.Elsewhere, he fronted Lyle + Scott’s SS25 campaign, premiered Dreams in Colour with GRM GOLD, and racked up over 200K views on DJ AG’s online performance streams. With momentum building on stage, on air, and online, Tom is firmly establishing himself as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists in 2025.
