Torchlight Parade release “Children of the Night” via Pavement Entertainment

St. Louis rock band Torchlight Parade releases Children of the Night via Pavement Entertainment. This album is inspired by the band’s love of classic monster movies. Torchlight Parade combines hard rock with a darker, theatrical edge that draws on themes of the macabre, creating a thrilling blend of music and spectacle.

Torchlight Parade is not just a band; they’re an experience. Their performances transcend typical concerts, evolving into full-blown productions where the stage becomes an immersive world. Expect actors in character, with appearances from a werewolf, Michael Myers, and Frankenstein, all joining the chaos. The energy is non-stop, featuring large kettle drums, balloon drops, and confetti cannons that ensure every show is unforgettable.

The band has been featured in numerous news outlets and magazines for their charity concerts, including for Toys for Tots and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. They’ve been named Best Local Band by the local media and newspapers for three consecutive years, further solidifying their place in the St. Louis music scene.

Torch Light Parade’s roots trace back to a funeral home, where Matt Engel, an embalmer and lead vocalist, and his brother Doug Engel, a hearse driver and lead guitarist, began to shape their hard rock sound. The lineup is completed by Doug’s son and Matt’s nephew, Samuel Engel (bass), along with his best friend, Gavin Martin (drums).

Together, they have crafted a distinctive sound that has earned them the opportunity to open for several prominent acts in the rock world. Torchlight Parade’s music blends hard-hitting rock with a compelling exploration of life, death, and the afterlife, all while bringing a captivating theatrical flair to their live shows. Their powerful combination of intense guitar riffs, in-your-face vocals, and a rhythm section that drives the crowd wild guarantees a captivating performance every time.
