TOY PARLOUR release single ‘Dead Inside’
TOY PARLOUR: Brighton’s New Alt-Rock Force on the Rise
TOY PARLOUR is a brand-new outfit born from the UK alternative scene, featuring members of Beach Riot and Gnarlah. Bringing together their distinctive styles, the band delivers a sound full of swagger, grit, and excitement — a fresh burst of energy set to make waves across the UK alt-rock landscape.
Fun riffs, infectious melodies, and an unmistakable sense of joy in creating music they genuinely love make TOY PARLOUR one of the most intriguing new acts to watch.
A Breakout Year for TOY PARLOUR
Following a blistering debut performance at The Great Escape Festival in Brighton and their first single “Say Something” surpassing 10,000 streams within its first two months, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the band.
Their follow-up single “Lose It,” released on 31 July, built on that early momentum — and with more music planned before the end of the year, TOY PARLOUR are quickly proving themselves one of the most exciting new names in the UK alt scene.
New Single: ‘Dead Inside’
The band’s latest release, “Dead Inside,” came together almost by accident — and that spontaneity is part of its magic.
“We absolutely love this song. It came to us very easily and on a whim whilst writing another tune during a long weekend at Jonny’s house demoing,” the band explain. “Mid-take for something else, Rory came up with the main intro riff on the fly, and we all basically stopped what we were doing and turned that into the song almost instantly. Those songs are always the best. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”
All stems were sent to Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood, Foals) for mixing, giving Dead Inside its final punch — a polished yet raw anthem that the band proudly describe as their best single yet.
