SURPRISE DROP NEW SINGLE ‘SALVATION’

A TIMELY, UPLIFTING SONG IN TODAY’S CHAOTIC WORLD

Summer Festival Shows: Slam Dunk, Download Festival, TRNSMT,
2000 Trees, Isle Of Wight + Select UK Headline Dates!

This Summer’s Shows Will Feature Their Original Lineup For The First Time Since 2021

Ahead of an exciting run of festival & outdoor appearances, Twin Atlantic have today surprise-released a brand new single ‘Salvation’, to kick off the summer and provide a moment of uplifting joy against the current state of chaos the world is going through.

We all need a little salvation, as the song screams “Take me to the top, the shoulders of my nation!” in a mood that seems to speak to the collective minds of people from all over the world experiencing global shifts of power and uncertainty - listen here.

“There’s plenty to be angry about in the world today, but we still believe in the power of music to make a difference,” says the band’s bassist Ross McNae.

Twin Atlantic are also delivering a surprise to fans for the upcoming run of shows, with the original lineup heading out, including drummer Craig Kneale, for a summer full of festivals starting with Slam Dunk, before heading on to Download Festival, Isle of Wight, 2000 Trees, TRNSMT & more, as well as several select headline shows across the UK.

“It’s great to have Craig back in the band for these live shows!” adds Sam McTrusty.

‘Salvation’ marks a purely independent release on Twin Atlantic’s own Staple Diet label, with the band currently writing their 8th studio record after 2024’s simply stunning UK Top 10 album Meltdown.

Formed in 2009, Glasgow's Twin Atlantic found mainstream success with their gold-selling album Free, as well as releasing highly acclaimed Top 10 albums The Great Divide (2014) and GLA (2016), and equally successful follow ups with Power (2020), Transparency (2022) and Meltdown (2024).
