Visa Anxiety share single 'What Can I Get For You? Love'

Visa Anxiety is an indie rock band born from late-night jams and existential musings. Formed by Emilio, Jamie, Jimi, and Ethan, the group burst onto the scene within 2021. Visa Anxiety delivers raw, boundary-pushing music that connects deeply with fans worldwide.

Their EP, What Can I Get For You? Love, was written between Asia, the US and the UK, the EP explores migration, belonging, late-night service jobs, and early-adulthood reinvention. Its four tracks form an emotional arc of movement and introspection:

“Closed Eyes” is a gentle anthem about stepping into one’s life rather than drifting through it. Mandarin lyricism softens the edges of British-indie guitars, turning reinvention into a quiet act of courage.

“What Can I Get For You, Love?” was inspired by Emilio’s nights bartending at Liverpool’s The Cavern Club. The title track examines the emotional distance between performer and stranger, artist and survival job, history and present.

“Life Is Worth It” is a response to the rise of “丧文化,” the track acknowledges disillusionment while transforming it into compassion and clarity. Spoken-poetry lyricism interrogates the pressures of the “perfect life” narrative.

“Summer Is Coming” draws from memories of Los Angeles, the EP closes on momentum and emotional arrival, choosing hope after seasons of uncertainty.

Across its four chapters, the EP becomes a document of living in transit: between languages, cities, identities and expectations.
