London, UK (September 24, 2021) - Today, alt-pop duo Nox Holloway release their debut EP If Only The World Didn’t Spin So Much alongside the music video for their focus track ‘Montana’. Watch Here The 7-track EP is more than a collection of songs. It's a world of stories and poetry that can't fully be told without the musicianship that brings the lyrics to life on singles such as “Separate Ways,” about that summer love fades out, and paying homage to the iconic Audrey Hepburn on “Audrey” and now, ‘Montana’ [Stream EP Here] Discussing the latest focus track, Nox Holloway said, "as we grapple with the expectations of life as we know it, the thought of leaving it all behind in fear of failure is always in the back of our minds. The simplicity and security of the Big Sky state is representative of that kind of ideal escape. The instrumentation of live bass, drums reminiscent of funk, and electric guitars contributes to the authenticity we wanted to convey," Formed by two college friends during their senior year, the duo blended their musical talents and backgrounds. The two undergrads turned lemons into lemonade when Covid-19 forced one of them to return home early from his London study abroad semester. They found that together they had all the skills they needed to write the kind of songs that previously only existed in their imaginations. “Our debut EP has a lot of different sounds and feels,” said Nox Holloway. “All with the goal to start bringing everyone into our world and show who Nox Holloway is. We’re so excited to share it with you.” They recorded remotely from their home studios in Clemson University in South Carolina, and Nashville, along with London during a period of study abroad. Nox Holloway created the songs while using passed voice notes and a mountain of text messages to shape their first handful of songs. Parker Mathews is a producer whose musical experience started with playing the drums and, like any true percussionist, evolved into pianos and keys with a range spanning 10 instruments. Bryce Vanhook is a songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist who is as likely to find inspiration strumming his ukulele as he is in the flow of hip hop by his idols. The name Nox Holloway is a combination of the Latin word for ‘night’ and the street in London where they found inspiration. If Only World Didn't Spin So Much Track List: 01. Montana 02.
