London punks Out Of Love set to release debut LP "So Far, So Good" and share video for "Pity"

London punks Out Of Love are pleased to kick off the year announcing news of their debut LP So Far, So Good which is set for release on 8th April 2022 via Venn Records.

To celebrate the news, the band are pleased to reveal the video for their new single ‘Pity’ which is set for release on 2nd February 2022 via Venn Records (Gallows).

Commenting on the new single, front man Jack Rogers said: “Pity is an observation about a person I know who does nothing but moan about life. It’s a response to the toxic outlook they have on the world and how I want nothing to do with them anymore. Even though cutting that person out from my life will be hard and conflicting, it’s necessary to surround myself with like-minded, forward-thinking people.

“It’s hard to watch someone you care about be so set in their ways and do very little to try and change even after helping them time and time again. Pity is a reminder for me to never turn into that person.”

Released on 12” vinyl, the limited edition physical record will also contain previous releases I Am Not Me (EP), Funny Feeling (EP), and the 2021 standalone single ‘Sniffin Glue’, as well as 4 brand new tracks. The LP is available to pre-order via the band’s online store, with a variety of official merchandise on offer including hoodies, t-shirts, and a photo zine for purchase. “It was great to work with our pal Harry again for the ‘Pity’ video,” says Rogers. “He always gets exactly what we want straight away. We love having him part of the visual representation of the band.” “It’s amazing to finally see a year’s worth of work in physical form, the idea to have a compilation LP plus a few extra tracks was something we wanted to do from the beginning and we are so stoked it’s happening,” he continues of the album. “It’s exciting to watch the older tracks get rediscovered and have a proper physical release as well as showing people where we are wanting to go creatively with the bonus new material!”

Much like everyone else, the band spent the majority of 2021 battling against shifting live schedules in the face of the pandemic, but managed to complete their debut UK tour dates in September 2021, with their first ever show in Milton Keynes sold out well in advance.

They went on to play alongside the likes of Salem, Chubby and The Gang, and Dead Swans, also finding time for an appearance at Wild Paths Fest and an exclusive live session on IGTV for House of Vans as part of their Next Era series.

With a grunge-tinged punk sound that fans of Culture Abuse, Gnarwolves, Drug Church, and Milk Teeth will find plenty to revel in, the band made a huge splash (no pun intended) when they dropped their incredible, and very wet, music video for ‘S.L.U.M.P’ back in February of 2020. The track was picked up by BBC Radio 1 and Kerrang! Radio, and soon enough Out Of Love were the band on everyone’s lips, since turning heads at BBC R1, Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, UPSET, DSCVRD, Radio X, Kerrang! Radio, Amazing Radio and more. Their debut EP I Am Not Me was released in July 2020, followed up by 2021’s Funny Feeling EP—a record about growing up, growing apart, and the struggle of finding out who you are and what you want to be, charting Rogers’ own war with his mind and mental health, and the way it affects his relationships both with loved ones and himself.
