Twirlies: Fredrikstad’s Indie Newcomers Ready to Drop Debut Single
The band—featuring Christoffer, Sara, and Sigurd—first connected during a silkscreen printing course, where a shared sense of creativity led to something much more unexpected.
Their journey began not with music, but with visual art. One of their course projects involved designing an album cover—long before they’d written a single song. Although the artwork eventually became a Christmas gift, it sparked the inspiration for the band to take shape.
Christoffer brings a solid musical background to the group. As a songwriter and producer, and a member of bands like Remington Super 60, Rinjin, Musique le Pop, and Navigators, he adds valuable experience to the project. But more than anything, he’s an indie music enthusiast at heart. That passion is the driving force behind The Twirlies’ sound and spirit.
