Formed in February 2022 by founding members Taylor Tidwell (guitar) and Chelsea Marrow (vocals), Visitant crafts music that channels the essence of restless, vengeful spirits. The band's lineup features seasoned musicians from the extreme metal underground: Anthony Lusk-Simone (drums/orchestration) from Abiotic and Lattermath, Kilian Duarte (bass) from Abiotic and Scale the Summit, Taylor Tidwell from Unaligned, and Chelsea Marrow from Voraath, whose vocal work has also been featured in acclaimed video games including DOOM ETERNAL and Senua's Saga: Hellblade II.

Formed out of necessity, Chelsea and Taylor were itching to create something new, visceral, and compelling. They wanted it to be dark, but beautiful, and “Fodder” embodies that vision perfectly. The single serves as the first taste from Visitant's highly anticipated debut album “Rubidium”, set for release on August 22nd, 2025, via Exitus Stratagem Records. The track exemplifies the band's approach to turning personal experiences into ghost stories, creating what they describe as ‘epic, moving, bleak, beautiful, and uncompromising’ music.

For fans of Gojira, Opeth, and Naglfar, Visitant offers a visceral experience that transcends genre boundaries, building immersive worlds through their unique blend of brutality and beauty.
