Black Talons Release New Single “Atom Bomb” and Begin Work on Debut Album

Milton Keynes, UK – April 2025 — Black Talons, a heavy rock band based in Milton Keynes, have released their new single, “Atom Bomb”, marking the start of a new phase for the group as they begin work on their debut full-length album.

Formed in late 2023 by Darren and Rob, the band quickly moved from casual sessions to the stage, landing an opening slot at a local Christmas show just weeks after forming. Throughout 2024, they released two singles — “Microdoser” and “White Lightning” — both of which gained attention on independent radio and streaming playlists. They also began playing regular shows, with performances at venues including The Craufurd Arms in Milton Keynes and The Castle in Luton.

In early 2025, the band added a new member and continued gigging while developing material for their first full release. “Atom Bomb” reflects their progression — a tighter, more aggressive sound that builds on their earlier work.

Black Talons includes former members of The GetGone, The Wah-Wah Club, and Anti Vigilante, and take influence from 90s alternative rock and grunge. Their sound has drawn comparisons to Reuben, Dinosaur Pile-Up, and Pulled Apart By Horses.

About ‘Atom Bomb’

“Atom Bomb” is the latest single from Black Talons. A raw, high-voltage track that dives headfirst into addiction, self-destruction, and the chaotic beauty of losing control. It captures a moment in life when we didn’t just flirt with chaos . We chased it. We’re currently in the process of recording our first full-length album while actively pursuing new gigging opportunities and building momentum in the scene. Atom Bomb sets the tone for what’s coming: honest, intense, and unapologetically loud. This campaign will help support live shows, and fuel future releases.
