Dan Sindel Unleashes Dystopian Rocker “FREEDOM” From Forthcoming EP

Independent solo artist Dan Sindel has released his latest single, “FREEDOM”, the second track from his upcoming EP They Only Love You When You're Winning. Co-produced by Sindel and legendary producer Danny Saber (U2, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Michael Hutchence, The Rolling Stones), the EP promises a bold fusion of classic rock, blues, '80s guitar theatrics, and modern metal.

“FREEDOM” lands as a dystopian anthem with cinematic intensity — a relentless wall of overdriven guitars, thunderous rhythm work, and dark, layered vocals. Channeling sci-fi themes in the spirit of The Terminator, Blade Runner, and The Matrix, the track imagines a chilling future where artificial intelligence turns on its creators. It’s an apocalyptic call-to-arms, driven by big hooks, fierce instrumental dynamics, and a vivid, conceptual core.

Sindel’s blend of vintage influences and modern energy gives They Only Love You When You're Winning a broad sonic range, with “FREEDOM” setting the tone as its heaviest and most dramatic entry yet. With production that balances grit and clarity, the track is tailor-made for fans of powerful, cinematic hard rock — combining storytelling and sound design in a way that feels both nostalgic and current.

The full EP is expected later this year. “FREEDOM” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
