"A rousing swirl of riffs, a rhythm backbone built to make the earth shake, and enough trippy-weighty statements to hang your hat on and scream out loud, Demob Happy are back doing what they do best – melting the world down to its molten core" The Line of Best Fit

“Like the Vines libidinously licking the sleeve of Rubber Soul on a revolving bed. It’s seedy and funky and excellent” The Guardian

“Swaggering back in style” DIY

“An intellectual and all-embracing encapsulation of the godly and ungodly” Dork

“All funky Beatles-y atmosphere with stabbing sides of garage-sizzled riffing” Classic Rock

“Drenched with rock swagger” Kerrang!

Demob Happy announce fourth LP ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’, set for release January 30th via Milk Parlour Records, and share brand new offering ‘No Man Left Behind’, out today (November 5th)

Recorded in the iconic Rancho De La Luna studio in Joshua Tree with Dave Catching (Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal) earlier in 2025, ‘The Grown Ups Are Talking’ finds the band at a moment of reckoning, balanced between death and rebirth, with personal loss and the strange and unfamiliar growth that follows running like a vein through the process. What emerged is the band’s most self-assured, devil-may-care body of work to date - an album borne from toppling expectation from its throne, becoming both an act of joy and a ritual of release, alongside introspection and renewal.

Arriving off the back of a standout London headliner at Islington Assembly Hall last week (November 1st) and September single release ‘Who Should I Say Is Calling?’, the trio continue to generate widespread support from all corners of the press community including The Guardian, The Independent, NME, DIY, Dork, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Kerrang and Classic Rock. Following their previous three album releases to date, they have also become mainstays on the BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X (currently playlisted) airwaves, and ticked off numerous tour supports alongside established acts such as Jack White, Royal Blood and Death From Above 1979, with 2026 tour dates of their own set to be announced imminently.

Detailing their brand new track, frontman Matthew Marcantonio explained: “Nothing kills more young men than themselves. I see a lack of purpose, community, meaning, and self worth as the cause - deep rooted problems that this song isn't going to fix - but maybe airing my dirty laundry might help.”

Demob Happy’s ‘No Man Left Behind’ is out now via Milk Parlour Records and available on all digital platforms.
