East Midlands Singer-Songwriter Oli Bruce shares single ‘Summer Day’

Oli started playing guitar at the end of 2022, after undergoing many years of torment with his mental health. Music has provided Oli with tranquillity but also an outlet with a direction for the future. His music effortlessly floats between indie and pop rock, where Oli is never afraid to experiment, with his unique ability to create distinctive melodies and striking lyrics. Oli released his debut EP last year, Missing You, which has received 50k streams to date and supported world-touring band Pet Needs on their return from the US.

Summer Day was Oli’s newest release, out on 8 August. This track is an upbeat, uplifting pop rock summer anthem about making the most of a sunny day. The song incorporates a South American-inspired drum beat and brass section, supplemented with a Santana feel-good inspired guitar solo.

Upcoming Shows
Oli was busy in August with a variety of shows at Old Town Ware, a support show at the prestigious Blue Moon in Cambridge, followed by a spot in Huntingdon Live performing in front of his home crowd with the band.
