After years of industry creative straightjackets, one of the UK’s most talented and distinctive voices returns. Today, Ella Eyre announces her long-anticipated second studio album, everything, in time - set for release on November 21st via Play It Again Sam.

A decade after her Top 4 debut Feline and countless high-octane collaborations, Ella finally unveils a body of work that is as unfiltered, fearless, and fully-formed as she is. A self-curated collection of 15 songs, everything, in time sees the London-born powerhouse step into a sound that is rooted in rich soul, bold R&B, retro funk, and emotional truth.

After a vocal surgery during lockdown forced her to literally relearn how to speak, Eyre emerged with a clearer sense of self. She parted ways with her former label, took her masters, and started again. everything, in time is the result “There was a moment when I just said, ‘This doesn’t feel right – scrap it all,’” she recalls of an earlier iteration of the album.

The album announcement arrives off the back of some of its already superb recent releases including high on the internet (ft. Jay Prince), a searing indictment of digital burnout and online illusion, domino szn, a silky soul-pop banger oozing with confidence and control, & the elegant, mature kintsugi.

The road to everything, in time was far from linear. Signed at 17, Eyre’s early career was a whirlwind of chart hits and dance collaborations, often leaving her own vision on the sidelines. Now 31, she has not only reclaimed her narrative but reshaped her future.

From the bolshy, breakup anthem ‘space’ to the gorgeous metaphor-laced ‘kintsugi’, Ella embraces sonic diversity and emotional honesty throughout, tying it all together with a voice that is unmistakably hers. And whether it’s the genre-bending soul of ‘loverman’, the vintage sass of ‘hell yeah’, or the intimate storytelling of the title track ‘everything, in time’, this is Ella Eyre unbound. Drawing on influences from Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse to Outkast and gospel choirs, the album offers a full-circle portrait of an artist coming into her own.

Ella has also announced four intimate candlelit shows in December, which will see her perform at stunning venues in Manchester, London, Edinburgh & Liverpool. Pre-Sale tickets – Monday 14th July @ 9.00am BST / General Sale – Wednesday 16th July @ 9.00am BST HERE.

With everything, in time, Ella Eyre not only reminds us that she’s still here – she proves she never left. This album is both a culmination and a fresh start: a bold declaration from one of British music’s most resilient and recognisable voices.

There's been a lot of stop-start with my career,” Eyre explains honestly. “It keeps me up at night. But this album feels like something I'm really proud of. And the biggest cliches are sometimes the deepest truths: Good things come to those who wait. And even though it's taken a long time to get to this place, I'm really proud of where I'm at.”
