Experimental noise rock bass and drums duo Scared Little Toaster release new single “NO DECAF”

NO DECAF", set against a backdrop of jagged, mathy rhythms and chaotic, noisy riffs, encapsulates the intense frustration and confusion of encountering disappointment - whether it's a lukewarm decaffeinated beverage or a burnt slice of toast.

Scared Little Toaster have been described by John Kennedy of RadioX as “a welcome a breath of fresh air”. John premiered their debut single “VIBRA” in January 2025. A review by Last Day Deaf described Scared Little Toaster as “Mike Patton with Lightning Bolt” and praised them as “thrilling and unconventional”.

Scared Little Toaster are an experimental noise rock/noise punk bass and drums duo from London/Norfolk, with the addition of sporadic moments of jazz and the occasional use of a domestic appliance. Their music combines fuzzy, angular bass riffs with frenetic, unpredictable drumming and an ad hoc toaster & foley.

Scared Little Toaster recently played a sold-out show at The Engine Rooms to celebrate the release of their first single. See them next at The Star in Shoreditch on April 25th alongside Ritual Error and Shlug.
