FROMME Unveils New Single ’How Does It Feel’ - Mixed & Produced by Stephen Lawrie

The single's title perfectly encapsulates its essence: a post-Velvets psychedelic jam that melds the raw energy of The Creation with the hazy, expansive textures of The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

The very genesis of FROMME and the music it now births trace back to an unusual evening in a medieval pub in the county town of Shrewsbury. A chance encounter led Carter to a fabled devil's painting hidden in an upstairs room… While the canvas offered no immediate answers, that night, during a profound and other-worldly dream, an entire album's worth of music and the word ‘FROMME’ was unexpectedly revealed. This deeply personal experience laid the groundwork for a project where sound emerges from the liminal.

FROMME's overall sound is best described as psychedelic rock with bursts of noise. However, the sound is consistently anchored by an undeniable pop sensibility and strong, captivating vocal melodies that retain listener interest, drawing them deeper into its intricate layers.
