Grindcore outfit Pulpit Vomit release album “Hospital Lens” on July 27th

PULPIT VOMIT – HOSPITAL LENS
LABEL: ROTTWEILER RECORDS / BROKEN CURFEW RECORDS
RELEASE DATE: JULY 27th 2025

…white walls and white lights, cold eyes and quiet cruelty…screams from somewhere out of sight and locks, chains and walls that won’t let me bleed. Fear runs through the air like wild electricity and faces watch me from the floor, smiling and biting at my feet. If this is getting well then I want to stay sick. Let me stay sick. Let me go home…

Hospital Lens is the long awaited debut full length album from Pulpit Vomit, a juddering detonation of the walls of reality, a stun grenade of incredibly intense creativity that blasts you out of your comfortable existence and straight into the nightmarish imagination of Seth Metoyer. Hospital Lens opens with the wild grindcore assault of second single ‘Razor Jaw’, a horrifying vision of broken teeth and wires. Pulpit Vomit have you on the floor before you’ve even braced for impact. Once you’ve passed through the doors of Hospital Lens there is no way out until the end and the attacks come from every conceivable angle. ‘The Filth’ is a suffocating, panic inducing sludge monster that grows in intensity as it progresses, stalking you through empty corridors, part Grendel-like beast, part black dog from the wastelands of your own mind. ‘No Place In Power’ is the sound of a mind exploding, sanity scattering to the winds – elemental and unstoppable. The album flies past, with blisteringly short songs that somehow contain everything they need to devastate, to be memorable, affecting and ultimately scarring. Like the infamous Reign In Blood the brevity is irrelevant and unnoticeable – every song is exactly as long as it needs to be. Hospital Lens concludes with the savage ‘Spewing Vomit From The Pulpit’, riffs buzzing like a swarm of insects driven by an alien malice and sense of purpose, drum beats falling like hammer blows. You’re left breathless, still racked by adrenaline overload…and ready to go again.

The coupling of shocking, grinding speed and power with a strikingly vivid, overwhelming sensory overload – electro shock therapy applied to the imagination – is wildly intense. Pulpit Vomit have announced their arrival on the world’s underground music scene in no uncertain terms and however you react to their pulverizing assault on your sanity, you will not be left unmoved or indifferent. The doors to the Hospital Lens asylum will open on July 27th, under the stewardship of Rottweiler Records and Broken Curfew Records.
