Emerging from Leeds in late 2024, The Corvids are an alternative rock band driven by a shared passion for creating dynamic, evocative music. The lineup features Dylan Fairburn (vocals and rhythm guitar), Bailey Walker (bass), Stanley Coates (lead guitar), and Bre’an Howie (drums)—a powerhouse ensemble with deep roots in the city’s music scene. Bailey and Dylan honed their craft in a previous band that earned airtime on Radio Leeds, while Stanley and Bre’an bring their own unique experience of playing to packed venues across the city. Together, The Corvids channel raw energy and heartfelt lyricism, delivering a fresh take on alternative rock.

On January 10th 2025, The Corvids burst onto the scene with their debut single “Aurelia”. The single has been extremely well received amongst The Corvids’ audience, radio and critics.

Latest release “When Will We Break?” is a powerful anthem of liberation and growth, capturing the emotional journey of breaking free from the past and embracing the inevitability of change. The song gradually builds in intensity, culminating in a cathartic release that mirrors the emotional complexity of its subject matter, blending powerful lyricism with equally powerful musicianship
